Love the site but what the fuck? You seem like an intelligent guy but what's with the narrow minded attitude? I am a Brit (remember, we were the most vocal of the ones who stood behind you in the war, against our allies and close neighbors in Europe) and have recently returned from a trip in your country which I must say I loved. But like I said, its the attitude that bothers me, the majority of people in your country believe that England only exists within London, that Sydney is the capital of Australia and that Pizza is an American food. That is the only explanation I can find for your article. I'm not a French advocate, we've hated them since before your country existed but we need to acknowledge, they have one of the largest economies in the world, supply an awful lot of exports, (including a shit load to the US of A) and to be honest, the only reason they opposed the war was (as you say) because of the political and economic interests they had in the region, (a similarity one may draw with your own interests in Israel possibly?) And, may I ask, why the hell would you care about excluding France from NATO, you obviously couldn't care less about it, conducting a war considered illegal by that organization, you may argue that 1441 gave you legitimacy but can you really justify that?

Also, 'they would be speaking German?' do you honestly believe that? Are you so shallow that you believe that American's were the divine force that rescued the allies? You joined the war half way through after we'd had the blitz, the battle of Britain etc and already severely depleted the German army. You then arrived, after, I must say making a shit load from selling arms to us before you officially joined the war when you were actually attacked, rather than any benevolent notion. Oh and despite what Hollywood may say, if you remember, wasn't it the Russians who took Berlin? Didn't you have a little spat with them later on? I may also say, I did notice while I was there the French people were completely ostracized by your wonderful citizens, all this because the leader of their nation opposed an illegal war, based on now seemingly fabricated moral justifications , how 'big' of you. One more thing, you mentioned twice if I recall how well the war was conducted, do you not watch the news? in this conquered country of yours American soldiers are dying pretty much every day. Sorry but that does not strike me as a battle well won, public service workers are rioting because they have not been paid for months, priceless treasures have been looted or destroyed under the watchful eye of your (and our, English) troops.

Oh and you're 'looking forward' to North Korea? I'm sure I don't need to remind you that they actually do have nuclear weapons unlike Iraq seemingly, do you really think they will hesitate us use them in the face of American 'diplomacy', look what you did to a country which said they didn't have them and accepted weapons inspectors into the country to prove it, You, as your article so eloquently put it, 'kicked the shit out of them' OK I acknowledge that they didn't co-operate as much as they could but could you really blame them? To be honest I wouldn't want Bush's palls poking around in my back yard either.

As a last point, 'without us they would be nothing' I would say without you they could be so much more. Look what America has given to the world, low quality TV, what would we be without Friends? MacDonald's and Starbucks - No comment -, Wal- Mart, responsible for the crushing of so much small business and who, if I watched Michael Moore close enough and feel free to correct me, supplied the bullets which killed the children at Columbine. And if I understand correctly this is where you buy your groceries? Oh and lets not forget the arms race. Yes America is the great 'world policeman' you 'speak softly and carry a big stick' unfortunately the tone has got louder and the stick has been replaced with an ICBM, personally I think the nation needs to wake up and look outside the borders of your wonderful country. No doubt you are the greatest nation in the world but remember, you didn't get there in isolation and you can't exist as an insular state either, I look forward to reading the next rant and, as I say, you have a fantastic site, I have thoroughly enjoyed it but felt like a rant of my own.

You know when 9/11 occurred, I thanked what ever God is up there for making my Presidential vote go unheard yet again. I was one of those silly souls that threw his ballot to the wind and poked my hole next to the name of Al Gore. Then 9/11 went down, While George W reached for his six shooters, Al was growing a really bad beard and snuggling up with a big bottle of Ripple. Did anybody see Al right after the incident? This poor son of a bitch looked like they drug him out of an alley somewhere, threw a rumpled suit on him, and shipped him off to the public events as a poster child for Americas distress. On the other hand you have our Savior George W, he goes on a multi billion dollar bombing spree of the Middle East and declares official war on terrorism. At the time it looked like we were set, we had an ass kicking president that knew what he wanted and wasn’t going to take no for an answer! Hell yea! The USA has Balls again, and it’s not just a white house secretary who’s seeing them in action!

Let’s jump to present day, George W still knows what he wants, and he’s still not taking no for an answer, but his objectives have strayed from the original path. Instead of being the ass-kicking President that stepped up in a time of national disaster and swooped down on Bin Laden like the vengeful God of the American people, we now have Hee Haw George who would rather go down in history as the man who left the American public in a permanent state on impending nuclear disaster. George has managed to make himself possibly one of the most memorable public officials ever, and for all the wrong reasons.

This single-minded pursuit of Iraq is making George W look like a bumbling idiot. Most of the world is now describing him as a playground bully that wants to prove how bad he is by picking on the little kids. Plus most of the European countries are using his name in the same sentence with the likes of Hitler. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the total destruction of Iraq. As far as I’m concerned, we can bomb it for 40 days and 40 nights and give it a real biblical feel. Once we’re done with Iraq we can move on to Iran and Pakistan, and even Turkey, those insignificant little fuckers need to know their role.

However, we won’t do that. We’ll go in and bomb them for a while. Blow up all the royal palaces and lose a lot of American soldiers in shitty little skirmishes in the streets of Baghdad. All of this so that we can take over the Iraqi oil fields and make the fat cat American oil companies even richer. If you, for one minute, believe that this anything more than a quest for riches you are as ignorant as George W himself, thinking that he can pull the wool over our eyes so easily. What happened to the real days of war? Why don’t we blow the shit out of Iraq, stick a flag in it and say, “This shit hole now belongs to us!” You could turn it into 100’s of miles of championship golf courses sitting on top of one of the world’s largest oil fields. Now that would boost the economy. But no, we’ll blow them up for awhile and then pay them billions of dollars for the next thousand years to apologize for it.

Now to top this entire cluster fuck off, we have North Korea. They have stated, and I quote “ If the US ignites a War on the Korean peninsula, the world will suffer horrifying nuclear disasters.” The day after this warning was issued, does George W scramble a bomber squadron to Korea? Does he really want to be the man that destroys the world, as we know it? Korea is not bluffing, they have nothing to live for, and will nuke us if the opportunity arrives. I have nothing against conquering the world as a whole, and renaming it the United Country’s of America. UCA has a nice feel to it don’t you think? But I would rather not watch my child die slowly of radioactive poisoning while the United States Government lives underground for the next 100 years waiting for the air to clear. This is a war that we can’t win, because we won’t try to, we’ll just fuck around for a while trying to prove that we have the balls to oppose the UN and the rest of the world. When it’s all over we’ll have spent billions of dollars and lost thousands of lives, and the world will be in the exact same condition as it was before it started. Assuming that we don’t piss off North Korea and they change the face of the planet.

I realize that I haven’t said anything here that most of you haven’t thought yet, and I’m sure that there are even more of you that won’t agree with my comments or my opinions. There is a lot of anti war and anti American sentiment boiling around the country right now. But just remember, the USA is the greatest country in the world, not because of the Government and it’s moronic posturing and self-centered decision making, but because of the people that live and work here to make America what it is. George W Bush is not America, we are!

I felt it necessary to wait a few days before I commented on this particular event in our lives. I don't think that I would have been able to explain myself coherently before now. Now that the obvious shock, outrage, anger, and sadness have eased a little, I would like to share a few opinions about this situation. Those of you, who have read my past articles, are familiar with some of my feelings. For those of you who have not, I will attempt to control myself, not only for your benefit, but due to the fact that several of the things I will say today will probably trigger several warning flags amongst the FBI data bases. 

First of all, let's just get the obvious facts out of the way, what happened on Tuesday September 11th, is without a doubt the most horrifying thing to ever occur in the history of the United States. If you only take into account the current number of "missing" people, along with the passengers on the air planes, the death toll already stands higher than that of Pearl Harbor and the sinking of the Titanic combined! Just imagine if the terrorists had managed to kill everyone in those buildings, that single act of terrorism could have killed more Americans in one day, than died in the entire Vietnam conflict!

Everyone is outraged at the fact that four planes were simultaneously hijacked and used as weapons. "How could they possibly have managed to get four of our planes at once?" Have you considered the possibility that most of the attempts may have failed? Yes four planes is an incredible number to steal at the same time, but what of they were trying to hijack ten, or fifty, or one hundred planes? What if the initial plane of the terrorists was to destroy every major center of trade, and power in the nation? We can only begin to imagine what these monsters are capable of.

I must admit, that I did not vote for President Bush. I felt that he was power hungry, trigger happy, and not altogether trust worthy. In my eyes, he now has the chance to raise himself beyond all other Presidents before him. If what I have seen in the past few days is true, if he doesn't decide to play political games, and takes action the way that he should, I will have no doubt that he is the right man for the job. Make no mistakes; I hope to see Afghanistan turned to a lifeless desert, with nothing but black sand and fires to remind us that it once existed. "What about the innocent civilians?" Did they think about our innocent? Did they attack our military bases? No, they attacked our communities, our places of business! They attacked our feeling of safety and security, and they forever shattered our feeling of invincibility! Osama Bin Laden not only changed the face of New York, but the mind set of the world. These terrorists have no laws, no rules, no borders, and no homes. They flee like rats when they are cornered; they live in the dark, and feed off of the fears of others. How do these bastards survive? They are sheltered and provided for by governments and individuals in the Middle East. The Taliban hides them in the mountains, while the Saudi's send them money to live on, and continue their reign of terror. It my hope that anyone and everyone involved with these cowards gets exactly what they deserve. If President Bush accomplishes anything less than total annihilation of these monsters, then he will have accomplished nothing at all.

The "Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee" is concerned about the backlash of violence against people of Arab American decent. They should be. Just two days ago a coworker of mine told me that when an Arab American surgeon was asked what he thought of the situation, he responded by saying "America got what it deserved." Comments such as these are exactly why violence towards Arab American is not only possible, but also likely. Now before I get any further with this, I need to tell you that this information was inaccurate. The comment was in fact made, but the doctor was not of Arab decent, this simply tells us that just because you are in America, you are not necessarily an American. Here's my favorite quote of the week, the reason this disaster happened is because: "Americans have insulted God, and lost the protection of heaven!" What psychotic religious fanatics made these remarks? Our very own Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. Two of the most well know Televangelists in our nation; tell us that those people deserved to die because they insulted God. Well Jerry and Pat I would like to take this opportunity to tell you and YOUR god, to GO FUCK YOURSELVES! No God of mine would allow innocent people to die for such a lowly reason, and I sincerely hope that you both spend an eternity in the Hell that you have created for yourselves. 

It is time for America, and Americans to take a stand for what is right. We must stop sitting back and allowing these dirty little countries to control our lives, we must decrease our dependence on Middle Eastern oil, and the power that this dependence gives them. Without us to buy the oil, who would they sell it to, who is really in control here? We have to stop aiding every country with a problem, while our own people die all around us, When is the last time a foreign country came to our aid, fed our hungry, or gave relief during one of our disasters? We must demand that the government stop making decisions based on money, and not human interest. The government was not created to make the rich richer, it was created to govern, and more importantly protect the masses. We are Americans, we live in the greatest, most powerful country in the world, and yet we are pawns to every one. We treat immigrants better than our own, and then act shocked when they spit on us. This is our country, and it belongs to us! To you snooty high and mighty intellectuals out there that are screaming "Your not Americans, only the Indians are Native Americans" Here's an intellectual answer, FUCK YOU! I was born here; I don't know have another country to call home. The American Indians are a Conquered people, this land is our now. I guess I'm beginning to ramble now, my point is, stay strong, be proud, and be prepared, this conflict is not over. Remember who you are, and steel yourselves for what is yet to come. We are Americans! We are strong, and we will be victorious!
